Crafting for a Cause

Do you love to craft but can’t justify spending money on supplies for crafts that you don’t need or can’t use? Are you interested in finding more people like you? Crafting for a Cause is a social club with the purpose of members volunteering to utilize their interest and skills in crafting for the benefit of Mental Health America of Porter County, a non-profit organization.

Meetings are held monthly to discuss new ideas, tips and tricks, learn a new craft, or use the time to make a craft.

Last Saturday of the Month from 11am to 12:30pm

Purpose:

The purpose of Crafting for a Cause is to build a social group and connection with community members based on a common interest in crafting and volunteering. Social connection and community integration are important parts of mental wellness the mission of our organization. Craft projects will be directly utilized in our programs, given to persons in need, or used in fundraising for craft supplies and the agency as a whole.
